Some years I have also picked up the new disk for APBA's Baseball for Windows computer game, but this year I pre-ordered the disk due to some league drafts coming a bit early.

It is becoming a tradition as this will be the fourth year I have made the journey to pick up the new cards. I hope to make the road trip to pick up the cards that same day. The main benefit is that I will be off work the day the APBA Game Company has announced that the 2015 Baseball Cards will begin shipping. I like this because as my wife and I have no kids, I don't mind letting coworkers celebrate with their families. I will be off 94 hours or so before returning to ring in the new year working 13 of 14 days. I worked one day of my own then return for a call day to cover a coworkers vacation day followed by six nights I will work as part of my regular schedule. I took five vacation days from work with six off days snuggled in the middle for almost two weeks without working. Lately,there hasn't been much to write about. Lots of people blog for money but I have a job and usually only write when the mood hits. I play APBA when I have the time and am off work but most of those games get posted to the Delphi Forums.
